If you have a Littermaid, check on eBay. Larry Weise is selling a
repair manual, an E-book, that is great!!

I have gone through four Littermaids, all under warranty until now. My
latest one is out of warranty and quit working. Going immediately to
the chapter describing what mine was doing, I learned how to fix it with
no tools, just my finger, and it started working again.

The very best $9.95 I have EVER spent!!!!

Even better--the self-cleaning litter box (this one's $30--I got mine at
WalMart for $16):

No muss, no fuss, probably the same amount of work as a LitterMaid, for
a fraction of the money--and this one never breaks down. You just roll
it over, roll it back, and empty the drawer.

So you put your BARE finger in there to disloge the dingleberries? Ew.
Must be a guy thing. <g>

It wasn't to dislodge dingleberries, it was to push a switch that is at
the end of the track!

How much litter and CS does the drawer hold? How often you got to empty
it? I empty my Littermaid every two months.

LOL--I empty mine every garbage day. I see no reason to collect cat
turds. Having moved up from the crappy open box-style, I'm just tickled
that I never smell the thing.

So this is what it feels like to be in a macho pissing contest, eh? I'm
afraid I'm at a disadvantage because your equipment is more handy. Let's
just agree we're both happy, so I don't have to ponder how to handicap
you to make this even. <blinks innocently>

Don't buy this book if your cat box was made within the last 4 years, it is old info and won't help. He won't update it so just ignore. Wish I could have my 12.95 back. RIPOFF!!!!
